Andree grew up living in El Paso Texas. Her family is one that has entertainment genes. Since a young age Karla (Host on Univision's Despierta America!) and other members of the family were in her vicinity. Along with her father Andrew Martinez, who is the vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) One of the largest electric utilities in America. Andrew Martinez is the vice president for Safety, Security and Resiliency of Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison, one of America's biggest electric utilities. SCE is responsible for his operations, policies and programs of the company. policies that focus on the safety of employees and their security. Martinez provides safety managers throughout every aspect of the business mentorship quality programs and support to help them achieve the safety goals of their respective work groups. Martinez's previous role was that of Director for Safety Training and Compliance, Transmission & Distribution. Prior to that, he served as the director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. In his thirty years with SCE Martinez has held numerous leadership positions within the corrective action program and the performance improvement programs, such as roles at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station.
